Red Hat’s CTO goes to Google

Red Hat’s Chief Technology Officer has quit his job and has become Vice President of Cloud Platforms at Google. He started at Red Hat in 2001.

Red Hat CEO Jim Whitehurst dismissed him from the company with an unusually terse statement.

“We want to thank Brian for his years of service and numerous contributions to Red Hat’s business. We wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Jim Whitehurst, President and CEO of Red Hat.
