Linux 3.16 released

The new version 3.16 of the Linux kernel brings improved performance for Radeon chips, less overhead with Intel’s graphic drivers and better hardware support for GeForce cards. Non graphics-related features include stabler and faster Btrfs and NFS drivers and a significant performance boost for the kernel itself due to improvements in the locking code. Fast storage hardware benefits from advances in the block layer infrastructure.
